PRODESA North America Corporation has one opening available for the position of Sales Manager with the following qualifications:

Requires U.S. bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering or related field. Also requires two years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Sales Manager managing the sales of wood pellet plants in a highly engineered environment. Stated experience must include two years of experience in contract negotiations for multimillion dollar Turnkey or EPC projects. Must be willing to travel up to 30% to unanticipated locations in North, Central and South America, and Spain.

Job duties for the position include:

Plan, direct, and coordinate sales efforts of custom-engineered and manufactured wood pellet plants. Manage and lead a sales team comprised of 5 to 10 professionals responsible for reaching the sales objectives of the sales department and closing sales for projects ranging between $10 million and $100 million. Manage the design of projects based on technical and economical conversations with clients and assign responsibilities within the team for the preparation of proposals, layouts, price lists, mass and energy balance, and technical specifications. Manage the sales team to respond to the clients’ requirements with regards to the project specifications and documents that need to be prepared such as proposals, specifications, schedule, and technical requirements. Provide technical support throughout the sales cycle and act as a liaison between clients, the engineering team, and other third-party participants including raw material suppliers, logistic partners, and site location and port authorities’ representatives. Manage contract negotiation with clients for Turnkey or Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects. Manage and coordinate with CEOs and VPs of construction firms and other partners to develop joint EPC proposals valued up to $120M and manage the development of the relationship with them and the coordination of the project by leading sales/proposal team. Meet with and advise stakeholder groups for project engagement; including sawmill representatives, city representatives, logistic groups (road, railroad, barges), port authorities, foreign utility companies and other wood pellet buyers. Negotiate terms, letters of intent, memoranda of understanding, joint venture agreements and contracts with the different companies involved. Increase and lead a network of sales representatives that know our product and help us to sell projects. Lead marketing and sales campaigns to reach the strategic targets of the sales department in North America, using segmentation for different interest groups. Direct the creation of databases and the segmentation of the different interest groups. Negotiate at the highest level with partner collaboration agreements based on individual projects or in long term relationships.
